SAY YES TO GOD

In life, people are bombarded daily to make free-will choices and priorities. Some choices are relatively unimportant, while others affect or change your life, as well as many others around the world. What is most important in life is the choice or priority in deciding what moral values will guide your life.

The choice or priority to desire land, wealth, and power has motivated people since the beginning of time. This desire has led to the discovery of new lands and materialism, the building up of walls, fences, boundaries and immoral nationalism, and the sad loss of precious human life in all immoral wars. Land has always stood for wealth and power. But, wanting too much land or too much of anything else will always lead you to morally bankrupt disaster. Your faith in God is greatly diminished by pursuing a life of wealth and power. We need to pursue lives full of loving and caring relationships for all people throughout the world. Our lives must be lived for God’s desires, not our own. You are the hero for following God’s laws, not meaningless mankind’s greedy lifestyles, which are shallow and superficial. True heroes are those whose choices and priorities in life are morally sound, thinking of others first, before themselves.

Saying Yes to the falsehoods perpetuated by the politicians, media, and corporations will destroy your soul. They are false and misleading as a mirage. If you follow the “evil axis” of today, (politicians, media and corporations), then you are mad and going the wrong way down a one way street. You take falsehood for truth and ugliness for beauty. Our mission, our purpose in life is to follow, by saying Yes to God everyday of our lives. So, we must make the correct moral choices and priorities, such as giving peace a place to flourish, rather than a monstrous, immoral war chest for the Pentagon. We should create a Department of Peace, to help spread peace and non-violence around the world, rather than threats of terror and war. Give the three digit billions of dollars earmarked for death and destruction to the poor, as Jesus of Nazareth himself taught all potential Christians to do!

Saying Yes to God will always fill and satisfy your heart, mind and soul. Riches and comfort is never enough if it is gained at the expense of your spiritual satisfaction. Those who aspire for riches and power have indeed traded heaven away for the mere earth. That I do not understand, I think you’re mad. Instead, always stand up for what is right, even if you are standing alone, for God is always by your side.
