Americans must start down the road less traveled, by fully supporting the Palestinians fight for their very own home. Yet, our madman, President Bush allies himself with the immoral and extremist forces of Israeli Prime Minister Aeriel Sharon. So far, the fruits of this immoral union have been an institutionalization of unprecedented violence in the West Bank and Gaza.

World opinion overwhelmingly views unconditional U.S. support for the Israeli government as the principle obstacle to ending the illegal and highly immoral Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory. This oppressive and murderous occupation is the root of the gruesome upsurge of violence in the last 18 months.

Changing U.S. policy is key to ending the violence that blights Palestinian and Israelis alike. To blame the current violence on Yassir Arafat and the Palestinian Authority, as Bush has done, defies all logic and Christian morality. The U.S. should suspend all economic and military support to Israel. Well, supporting illegal and immoral occupation, demolition of homes, and Jewish settlements in the West Bank should be held to the highest level of scrutiny. So, we must end all military support to Israel until there is a complete Israeli withdrawal and full dismantling of the provocative, immoral and illegal Jewish settlements.

To end U.S. support for the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, we must make it clear to people why this continued occupation is morally wrong and politically unsustainable. Please, by the awesome authority of our God, and by traveling the road less traveled, you must educate the public. The occupation and settlement building must end as soon as possible! Give the Palestinians their own home nation!
