I LOVE MY BUSH!

It is autumn here in Iowa.  I wake up to frost on my flowers and trees at the Schafer Estates Apartments.  The leaves of the wild, red rose bush is losing its petals quickly these October days.  The pear and the plum fruit trees have had their harvest of bountiful sweet juices and jams.  My mighty oaks are still hanging in there with their bitter and tough green all the way towards ushering in the winter solstice.  I gallantly take walks around my little wildness as Thoreau would describe so eloquently, and find inner strength and peace for the personal and social conversion of people enslaved by fear and ignorance to the truth.  Yet, in this vast wildness on the corner of  S. 9th St. and Cedar, I feel the spirituality of God among my bush and the Bush in the White House.

This past week in the year 2003, I mustered up the courage and the forgiveness qualities found throughout the Christian Scriptures of the Bible.  I wrote a LOVE LETTER to our U.S. President George W. Bush.  After almost three unbearable years of his reign, I realized that as Jesus taught, I must unconditionally love and forgive him or else I am no better than him.  I had grown angry towards him daily through his Administrations lack of love, forgiveness and truth for America itself, as well as the rest of the world.  I hated him, while preaching GOD BLESS THE WORLD!  I stumbled and fell miserably as a Christian.  God forgive me for my failings!  I, as well as my Bush are only human beings, filled with goodness and evil if acted upon.

I just realized, while participating in a Bible Study class being facilitated by my dearest of friends, Sr. Nadine Meyer, that I do love the Bush in Washington, DC.  I have nothing to fear!  Death is not my enemy and neither is President Bush.  As I learned from my trip to IRAQ, the gracious and beautiful people were my friends, not my enemies, as the ignorant fundamentalists might misguide Americans.  I am not fearful of being bombed, because I am a faithful believer in the Universal Being (God).  But, the person responsible for my sudden change of heart towards my Bush is Gene.  He is a member of our small, Wednesday afternoon scripture study group.  Gene told us a story about his experiences during WWII, where he was a participant.  He told us about a famous German theologian, who was extremely faithful to the callings of our same God.  Well, he consumed such anger towards Hitler, that in his heart he firmly believed, he, among others were called to eradicate the evil monster that they believed was Hitler, to save millions from death.  So, he conspired with others to kill Hitler, but the plot was unsuccessful and he was killed later.  From that story, I was led to ask Gene if I and others should conspire against my friend, Mr. Bush?  The truth is that through Bush’s orders he has killed thousands in the world, and those are evil acts according to the teachings of Jesus, Gandhi, Buddha, Mohammad, and many other religious teachers, prophets, and God!  So, with God on my side, we must kill President Bush!  This sounds woefully familiar:  Bush proclaiming an evil axis and that with God on his side, he too must move forward on his unholy crusade;  The Holy Crusades;  The German theologian;  And, even me, God forbid that I even think about such a crime.  Killing is always wrong!  As Paul wrote to the Thessalonians in Chapter 5:15, “See that no one returns evil for evil; rather, always seek what is good for each other and for all.”

With many thanks to Gene, Sr. Nadine, the Bible study class, and the inspired writings of Paul and others, I NOW LOVE MY BUSH!  He is a man, who God created.  Unfortunately, I believe that Mr. Bush is sincere in some of his evil actions, which I have since forgiven.  Bush believes he is doing right, as many false prophets of past and present believed too in their hearts and minds.  This is what is so very scary!  He is a false prophet, because he spreads fear and ignorance.  He makes the countless millions of Americans fanatic and fearful, as did Hitler do so successfully.  Bush gives no hope as Christians must always give to the world.  So, now Americans are without hope as they ignorantly cling to their flag of nationalism.  At one point in our history, the flag once represented hope, freedom and democracy, but today to the billions of people on earth, that flag that Iowans have on their vehicles only represents hatred, fear and enslavement, not HOPE!  We all need hope to get up each new day.

Yes, HOPE is the answer, as well as the reason I love our Commander-In-Chief.  I had recently begun to lose hope and faith.  I had become depressed at the sad, sad state of affairs this world was being destroyed at the hands of unfaithful rich and powerful today, especially in the U.S.  I started to welcome my death sooner than later – I wanted to commit suicide!  Yes, you heard me correctly, the big immoral action of suicide, because I believed all my struggling to combat the evil actions of others was in vain.  I have spent the last 25 years of my life battling the ignorance of the masses to believe all violence is wrong.  The fact is we live in the most violent culture on the face of this gorgeous planet.  I left teaching, because I no longer could discipline the children.  I literally could not control or persuade students to adhere to the rules, as well as to love one another.  I was void inside, because daily I was let down by the same children I adored.  I was asked to leave many schools because I was considered ineffective, rather than addressing the root causes in our schools and society about violence.  Notre Dame High School in Burlington let me go, as well as Union School District #115 in Biggsville, and in other rural schools in the State of Illinois.  Schools and parents are failing our children!  I’ve had many elementary students in Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and Vermont tell me to FUCK OFF!  That is the truth!  Where is the hope and faith we need as a nation to combat violence here at home and abroad?  These same students loved that President Bush was murdering people in Afghanistan and IRAQ!

I am rich in faith, but miserably poor materially.  I am refreshed with hope due to the Scripture Study Group, but I sit on welfare, (rent, food & medical), of which the tyrants in the State of Iowa are threatening to take away.  I am set free through my mental enslavement by books and holy people in my congregations, but I am physically stricken with many ailments, which make it literally impossible for me to work a 9-5 job – yet, my once perceived friend and physician for many years, DR. TRACEY BELL refuses to help me anymore!  What does one do when society casts you out like an old pair of worn-out, stinky shoes?  I feel abandoned and lonely!  Why are people so cruel and inhumane?  Why can’t we practice true love for one another?  When your very own doctor refuses to set up an appointment to talk with you, it makes one wonder about her immoral actions in such a powerful position as a healer.  She has walked away from me, and as one of her nurses said, “Scott it is your choice to leave Tracey.”  She did not care or love me either.  It is a very callous and unloving attitude!  Why don’t people love, as Jesus commanded us to do in the Golden Rule and the Beatitudes?  Where is common decency?  She has reminded me of my Bush, who does evil and unloving actions, but now I forgive and love my Bush.  So, I must love my Bell too, even though it is incredibly hard to do.

As the Unitarian Universalist Association proposes;

*Where is the inherent worth and dignity of every person?  I ask my friends, Bush, Bell, Baker & society?

*Where are justice, equity and compassion in human relations?  I ask my same above friends who I love?

*Where is acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our society at large?

*Where is a free and responsible search for truth and meaning?  Where are the mainline churches?

*Where are the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within the U.S.?

*Where is the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all?  As our country KILLS?

*Last, but definitely not least, where is our respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part and parcel???

Even though I love you, Mr. Bush, Dr. Bell, Nora Baker, Christian Fundamentalists, Mayor Tim Scott, that does not excuse you from your spiritual responsibilities to actively show your love through acts of charity and peace and justice. DO NOT say you are only doing your job, as the Germans said in WWII.  To paraphrase a verse from the Bible, if your hand is the problem for your evil actions, then cut it off or if your eye is the cause of your evil actions, then pluck it out.  DO NOT hide behind your job or career in fear of losing it.  What is most important in life is to follow our Universal Being (God) first and foremost, then our world (GOD BLESS THE WORLD), then our immediate family, then our country, and then everything else.  These are our priorities!  Let us come together and practice them together in worship and celebration.  Let’s sing from the mountain tops and rejoice in God’s Universe, for all is good!  I love you, President Bush!

Dearest warm greetings of love and peace Mr. Bush.  Let us now come together as Christian friends and rectify the grave mistakes of past.  Let us all in the U.S. come together united as people of all faiths to promote peace and prosperity for all in the world.  First let’s hear from the innocent children and learn from their simple messages as found in the book, “A Million Visions of Peace,” which I will send as a gift to you, my Bush friend was compiled by Jennifer Garrison and Andrew Tubesing.  Indeed let us share our many gifts.  This first one is from Marcy here in Iowa, “We all have friends about whom we care deeply.  Before we knew them, they were outsiders, but they had the potential to join our circle of friends.  If we recognize that each person in the world is only a handshake and a smile away from becoming our friend, then we know that there are no outsiders.  We are all members of a single worldwide community.”  This next one comes from a second grader in OregonAmy, “Peace means to me like a big hand and each finger is a different country.”  There are just so very many great comments by children around the U.S, but, I can only share a couple more.  I highly recommend all readers and serious thinkers today to invest in this small but worthy book.  You may purchase it through Scholastic Inc.  My only copy will now belong to my loving friend, President George W. Bush.  Once again, from the great State of Iowa, Danah says, “God made the world for us to share, so we need to show him that we care.  Hand in hand we all should be, living together in harmony.  We need to correct our mistakes today, before our Earth fades away.”  This one last one is from Erik, who was 11 in Minnesota.  “My vision for peace is if everyone would think of themselves as dinosaurs, and if we keep fighting we will soon be extinct.”  Out of the mouths of babes, come pearls of wisdom to live by always.  Please, my loving friend, my Bush, pay heed to these words of bliss, of truth, of peace.  Everyone, pay heed, and know that I love you too as God loves you as an integral important part of all creation.

Now, all lovers of all creation together, we must pay attention to the truth and act compassionately towards change.  Jim Abrams, from the Associated Press sites the federal government is heading toward a catastrophic record of $480 billion deficit in 2004, which is the largest spending of any former President.  Honestly, I was told that Republicans don’t waste and spend like the Democrats.  First BIG LIE!  You cannot do justice by your own people, if you continue to build up defense and give-away billions in tax cuts for the filthy rich.  Speaking of the rich, guess what, their economy improved dramatically.  The super rich net’s worth rose by ten percent, while the middle-class shrank again and joined the masses of poor or underemployed with unlivable wages of minimum wage “garbage jobs,” or as God sees it, immoral wages and jobs not befitting of human dignity or worth.  Nora Baker, I love you as a creature of God, but your immoral words and deeds of eliminating State assistance, just to place beautiful people in “garbage or unworthy” minimum wage jobs is a crime against humanity and God.  God forgive you!  The richest man in America is Bill Gates at $46 billion.  Jesus would frown upon this immoral amassing of wealth into the hands of only a few people in the world.  Bill may be gracious in his computer charity to schools which impresses most people of faith, except me.  I am not at all impressed with the drop in the bucket that Mr. Gates donates to charities.  From a story in Christian Scriptures, Jesus was only impressed with the old woman who gave of her last coin; she gave of her whole substance, not from her excess wealth as Bill Gates does.  As people of faith, we must attempt to give of our substance, not our excess.  I am dirt poor, but I still scrape up money to give to those less fortunate than me - we must all strive towards giving always, not being fearful of old age and retirement.  Living like that is living like Jesus!  Yet, the rich and powerful fundamentalists do not follow Jesus or anyone with a once of common sense – they are the true terrorists destroying the fabric of our society today here in the U.S. and around the globe.  When two-thirds of the world is living in desperate and almost hopeless poverty, something is extremely wrong.  Wake up America, my loving friends!  The wonderful and smiling associates at Wal-Mart are also being used with their inadequate wages, while the masses shop their hearts out, and the Walton family was again prominent on the list of wealthiest Americans.  Five Walton family members tied for the fourth spot, each with a net worth of $20.5 billion.  If you really cared, you’d boycott and stop shopping at Wal-Mart, as I do, and follow the great examples of previous prophets and martyrs.  Start loving all people who do not have livable wages.  If you truly loved your neighbor or “associate” for example at Wal-Mart, you’d demand livable wages and stop shopping there until management caved-in.  And, our millionaires in Congress must pay heed to their faiths soon too, by increasing the minimum wage to a livable wage.  They use to argue that the jobs would disappear if we paid people a wage of dignity, but almost three million jobs since my loving, dear friend Bush took office are gone forever to Mexico, Central America, and Asia.  Don’t get me wrong, the job losses were astronomical during Clinton’s reign too.  I put God before politics, as millions of Americans must start doing soon.

In addition, the number of Americans who lack health insurance climbed once again by 5.7 percent in 2002, to 43.6 million, the largest single increase in over a decade, according to figures released by the Census Bureau.  This is coupled by another report showing a similar staggering rise in poverty in the richest country in the world.  Both political parties have ignored the uninsured!  No one has stepped forward with courage and strength of God to say goodbye to the immoral drug companies and insurance companies, who are a part of the problem, not the solution.  In the U.S., we alone treat health care as a commodity distributed according to the ability to pay, rather than as a social service to be distributed according to medical need.  In our market-driven system, investor-owned firms compete not so much by increasing quality or lowering costs. But by avoiding unprofitable patients and shifting costs back to patients or to other payers.  This creates the paradox of a health care system based on avoiding the sick.  It generates huge administrative costs, which, along with profits, divert valuable resources from clinical care to the demands of business.  In addition, burgeoning satellite businesses, such as consulting firms and marketing companies, consume an increasing fraction of the health care dollar.  Only a percentage of the defense budget would provide all Americans with health coverage, but instead we go on a murderous rampage in IRAQ and Colombia and many other areas around the world.  No one reading this right now can say they love all their American friends, if they did not lift a finger to help promote universal healthcare or even something remotely close.  You do not love your God, if you just sit back drinking at the bars, eating out at the restaurants, or buying the big, and wasteful SUV’s, etc.  Love is an action VERB – you must actively show it, not just mouth it!  Where are the millions of Americans that should be revolting against this government – all the bums in Congress as well as the bureaucrats in the so-called Justice Department and the immoral IRS, Immigration, etc. again!  Kudos go out to the great State of Minnesota, who showed the greatest success in healthcare coverage with 92 percent of its residents being covered by private or government programs – this shows real commitment to the healthcare crisis.  If Minnesota can do it, why not Washington, DC?  On the contrary, where my dear friend Mr. Bush comes from, the Lone Star State of Texas has the highest number of uninsured residents in the nation.  Similar to their crappy education system which was imposed upon us by my loving Bush.  Don’t get me wrong my friend Bush, I still love you, but you need to begin after three years of neglect, take care of us Americans who put you in office.

As reported, President Bush, your very own U.S. Advisory Group on Public Diplomacy in the Arab and Muslim World said, “Hostility toward America has reached shocking levels,” due in most part of your illegal “War On So-Called Terrorism.”  They also stated that,” A process of unilateral disarmament in the weapons of advocacy over the last decade has contributed to widespread hostility toward Americans and left us vulnerable to lethal threats to our interests and most of all our safety.”  What are you going to do, please be specific my friend Bush, because I am tired of lies, propaganda, and most of all empty rhetoric as do most politicians spew from their mouths?

What about your crazy notion to lift the ten-year ban on nuclear weapons testing, which began under your father’s reign, who by the way actually would respond by mail occasionally, as did Reagan and Carter.  A matter of fact, I received a personally signed letter back from President Reagan and Vice-President Mondale.  Your dear father, who I liked, gave me a tie-clip with his signature on it.  Over almost three years, I’ve actually written to you more than any previous President, yet I am still waiting for answers to my questions, as well as a personal comment about my new organization, “GOD BLESS THE WORLD”.  As a Christian, I would think you would love that God blesses his whole creation, not just the USA.  Tell me what you think?  This is an open opportunity to tell my supporters how you really feel!  I am waiting patiently, as that is one of my worst virtues, which I am constantly working on in life.  Well, back to nuclear weapons.  The primary purpose of testing was always the development of new nuclear weapons, and after hundreds of tests, there is no need to conduct more tests for current nuclear arsenal nor is there a need for new nuclear weapons.  Furthermore, testing would also violate the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, which we have signed but not ratified, would be inconsistent with our commitments under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and would encourage testing and development of new nuclear weapons by other countries.  I believe, along with my U.S. Senator, Tom Harkin, that it is now more urgent than ever for the U.S. Senate to set an example for other countries by ratifying the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.  My friend, Mr. Bush, who I love, should listen to the cries of how very vital to our safety it would be for all countries to stop developing nuclear weapons, but we must take the lead!  Mr. Bush, look at the innocent in IRAQ dying daily from depleted uranium in their water and soil.  All nuclear weapons must stop!

As in Romans of the Bible that we both share and uphold, it states, “Be not conformed to this world.”  We must have a willingness to be non-conformists to the evil actions of this world.  To follow in the footsteps of Jesus in our lives, we have to express our faith openly in every aspect of our daily lives 24/7.  This means, to be faithful to our God, we do not conform to the evils of greed and oil.  We are not to be bought and sold by huge multi-national corporations which spread evil and death around the world, like Coca-Cola and Texaco in Colombia, and Abitibi Consolidated in Canada as only a few examples of the hundreds of bad corporations.  Remember my friend George; we are not to conform of this world, lest we never see the other world possibly beyond our material world of falling away from our Universal Being.  You my friend, George W. and others in this country must walk away from people who surround us and give advice that is contrary to good.  Mr. President, because I love you now, it is my responsibility as your friend in God to help you see the errors of your ways.  Throw out the scoundrels on their fat-asses, all of them including Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Rice, and others like them in their evil and immoral dens of crime!  This would be a great start, Mr. President.  Instead, surround yourself with women and men of good faith and good will for the common good of all people in this world.

Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream for all people, only some of it has been realized, that is why we all need to recommit some of our energies to the NAACP, but others of great prophetic voices, as the Rev. Kings words, started back in 1525, but it came from the faith tradition of the Mennonites.  I am rich with friends from this dream through my active involvement of the wonderful Christian Peacemaker Teams.  This is how their dream should be lived out in all our daily lives:

*A dream that it is reasonable to follow Jesus Christ daily, radically, totally in life.

*A dream that it is practical to obey the Sermon on the Mount, and the whole Christian Scriptures honestly.

*A dream that it is thinkable to practice the way of reconciling love in human conflicts and warfare, nondefensively and nonresistantly.

*A dream that it is possible to confess Jesus as Lord above all nationalism, racism, or materialism.

*A dream that it is feasible to build a communal church of brothers and sisters who are voluntary, disciplined, and mutually committed to each other in God.

* A dream that life can be lived simply, following the Jesus-way or Ghandian-way lifestyle, in possessions, in service to others.

Does anyone out there in America also believe there is great merit in this dream too?  What do you think my loving friend, Mr. Bush?  Can we ever achieve any of these dreams with your present course of wanton destruction of human life and all of creation?  Your environmental record is not that of a true Christian either.  We believe and uphold creation, at least in my dream of a better world.  A Republican friend of yours and mine would be fuming in anger towards you today, if only he were alive.  Former great President Teddy Roosevelt wanted to preserve God’s spectacular and irreplaceable earthen paradise.  He said,”Every person who appreciates the majesty and beauty of the wilderness and of wildlife, should strike hands with the farsighted person who wish to preserve our material resources, in the effort to keep our forests and our game beasts, game-birds, and game-fish – indeed, all the living creatures of prairie and woodland and seashore – from the wanton destruction.  Above all, we should realize that the effort toward this end is essentially a democratic movement.”  What about it my friend?  Do you want to destroy our forests with more subsidized, greedy lumbering and clear-cutting, like in the Boreal Forests of Northern Ontario, Canada?  We need to preserve the biodiversity and uniqueness of our National Forests!  Our precious National Park System is in major crisis of neglect and financial abandonment.  Privatizing our National treasures would only destroy the Park system, because the bottom line would only be profit, which is immoral concerning any of God’s creation, wouldn’t you agree Mr. President?  Opening up the Arctic Refuge for oil is immoral.  Don’t you honestly believe we must find alternative sources of energy, and stop relying so very heavily on fossil fuels?  We all know the technology is there, but presently it is cheaper to rape and pillage God’s creation for quick and easy money for the ultra-large and immoral companies profiting from this evil action.  What about global warming and the Kyoto Protocol?  Honestly, Mr. President, do you care about anyone or anything?  I am wondering about your motives and what’s in your heart and soul?  Can or will you ever be honest and answer these and other direct questions?

Another major problem, my friend Mr. Bush is the Free Trade Agreements you are pushing here in the Americas and around the world.  Most people have come to their senses and realized that NAFTA was a monumental failed policy for the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  Now, we have the proposal of the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), which is a horrible plan of destruction to extend NAFTA to all of the countries of the Western Hemisphere, except Cuba, but including a total of 34 countries and over 800 million people.  The FTAA will expand NAFTA’s record of lost jobs, lower wages and weaker environmental and labor protections.  Since 1998, negotiating committees have been meeting in secret with the goal of completing the FTAA by 2005.  Congress will only have a Yes or No vote on the whole agreement because it will be voted on under fast track authority.  As a result of huge job loss and an increasing trade deficit with Mexico and Canada, the U.S. has lost hundreds of thousands of jobs due to NAFTA.  Many of these jobs ended up as sweatshop jobs in Mexico where workers are denied their rights to join an independent union.  Despite promises of improved living conditions under NAFTA for Mexican workers, an economic crisis and currency devaluation has left millions of Mexicans living in severe poverty!  Do you care, my friend?

In the U.S., the social safety net is shrinking almost to nothing.  Welfare “reform” has pushed people like me and millions of others into poverty.  Throughout the Western Hemisphere, many countries have also been losing their social safety nets, because of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the infamous World Bank of criminals.  These two organizations loan money to developing countries, but in return those countries must implement “structural adjustments.”  Often this will mean that they are not allowed to provide free or affordable healthcare, education or other basic services to their citizens.  In the U.S. this is also happening, but it is our own government doing it instead of the IMF and World Bank.  There are many reasons for this, including:  1.  Corporations and wealthy individuals don’t pay their fair share of taxes, so governments are lacking in money.  2.  The government is spending an enormous amount on the military and on subsidies for corporations, which doesn’t leave enough for the needs of its citizens.  3.  Many Americans believe that someone who is poor, like me, simply hasn’t tried hard enough, and doesn’t deserve a “handout,” so they ignorantly support further tax cuts that deprive God-created poor people of basic services.  What has become of their faith or yours my dearest of friends, President Bush, who I love with an open heart so profoundly?  Is this morally right?

The main effects that the FTAA would have on the social safety net can be summed up in two words:  Privatization and IMMORAL!  This means that greedy and evil corporations would be allowed to run public services for a profit.  It would also give companies rights to “equal treatment,” which means that they could compete for the use of tax money to fund the service that they operate, if it is a service that is normally funded by taxes.  Some of the problems with privatization are as follows.  1. Corporations that take over hospitals, parks, and government agencies can cut wages, benefits, and staffing levels.  This turns decent jobs into poverty jobs or temp jobs, makes workplaces less safe, and destroys unions.  2.  Corporations will raise fees for essential human services.  We all can lose access to affordable schools, libraries, parks, museums, water, sanitation, social assistance, environmental protection and postal services just to mention a few.  Beware government workers – these are your jobs which will become like Wal-Mart, poverty jobs!  3. Corporations will get all the profits; none of the money will go back into the state or local budgets.  This is exactly what has happened with the corporate takeover of our health care system.  Large corporations are extremely eager to get into the public services market, because it means big money.  Worldwide, the money spent on water services is more than $1 trillion, on education more than $2 trillion, and on healthcare more than $3.5 trillion.  This immoral fiasco will destroy the earth!  Corporations, rather than democratically-elected officials will be in control of every part of our lives.  Once again – Wake up America, before it is too late!  Is this the kind of world that you want your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to live in someday soon?  Stop FREE TRADE, and start supporting FAIR TRADE!  It is the only moral choice we have my friends, especially you, my best buddy, George Bush.  I beg for your conversion, oh dear God.  I will continue to pray for you George and your greedy friends in the corporate world!

Dear George,

We must begin to follow the United Nations Culture of peace:  eight action areas….

  1. Fostering a culture of peace through education.
  2. Promoting sustainable economic and social development.
  3. Promoting respect for all human rights.
  4. Ensuring equality between women and men.
  5. Fostering democratic participation.
  6. Advancing understanding, tolerance and solidarity.
  7. Supporting participatory communication and a free flow of truthful information and knowledge.
  8. Promoting international peace and security through non-violence.

“In Germany they first came for the communists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist.  Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.  Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.  Then they came for the Catholics, and I once again didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.  Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up,”  Rev. Martin Niemoller.

What will it take for the silence of the good people to speak up, before no one is left to speak up for in our world?

“I swore never to be silent whenever human beings endure suffering and humiliation.  We must always take sides.  Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victims.  Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented,”  Elie Wiesel.

Honestly, George, have you taken the sides of the corporate tormentor?  Are we Americans the future victims of the immorality of Corporations today and into the future?  Will you sit on the fence silently while millions upon millions suffer daily because of greed?  You must believe that human beings are cherished creations of our God?  It is your mission and responsibility to protect us from ourselves?  The writing is on the walls!  I will pray that you listen to our shared God, and I will continue to love you, because it is love that saves us, not hate or the idol of money.  You are my friend; I know you won’t let the world down, for the collective world is praying for your moral conversion.  Once again, I LOVE YOU, MY BUSH!!!

In summation, I leave all my friends this poem entitled, “True Piety.”

“Let compassion be your mosque,

Let faith be your prayer mat,

Let honest living be your KORAN,

Let modesty be the rules of observance,

Let piety be the fasts you keep;

In such wisdom try to think like a Muslim:

Right conduct always, the Truth the Prophet;

Good deeds your only prayer;

Submission to the Lord’s Will your rosary;

If this you do, the Lord will be your Protector.”

Guru Granth Sahib, 16th century

God Bless The World my friend, President George W. Bush!!!  Love and peace always to you!!!

GOD BLESS ALL THE WORLD ALWAYS!
