AMERICAN BLOOD ORGIES!
“Will you ever begin to
understand the meaning of the very soil beneath your feet? From a grain of sand to a great mountain, all
is sacred. Yesterday and tomorrow exist
eternally upon this continent. We
natives are guardians of this sacred place,” Peter Blue Cloud, a Mohawk
Native-American.
As a culture of people in America
today, we must learn that all things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the
children of the earth. As Jimmy Reyna, a
Taos Pueblo Indian said; “people live not knowing, all they know is the top of
their shoes today. They don’t know the
glory, the what we’re living underneath.” The sacredness and spiritual nature of the
universe is all connected to us Americans.
We must learn to change our unholy ways, to see the world as our
Native-American brothers and sisters see it.
We must become one with the world, full of love, generosity, peace, and
non-violence. We are living upon holy
ground!
Salvador Dali, a world famous
artist, painted a portrait of America in 1943 called, “The Poetry of
America.” It was a painting which
revealed the major shortcomings of our American way of life.
Dali said we have an American
dynamism which in the painting is represented by the two principal figures,
football players. This concludes that
our nation then and ever more so today revolves around this abnormal fixation
on sports. It, (sports) dominates our
high schools, colleges, and pros more than anywhere else in the world. It seems now that our week-ends were made for
sports, it dominates our television, radio and
lifestyles. Americans spend exorbitant
amounts of time and money on sports. Parents run-around all week-end hauling their children from
one event to the next. So, what has
happened to the worship of God and family, once reserved for week-ends? What does this poor priority of time and
especially money say to the other poverty stricken two-thirds of the
world? Do you even care?
Another aspect of Dali’s painting
is the one black male balancing a ball on his finger, which symbolizes the
physical vitality of African-Americans.
The painting expresses the difficulties that arise often between whites
and blacks in America. This speaks
directly towards our racism and bigotry, which is still very much alive and
ugly in America today.
Smack dab in the center of the
painting is a very obvious Coca Cola bottle, representing our pop culture of
immoral capitalism and consumerism. It
reeks of the power and wealth, greed and materialism which dominates
our society. Where does God fit into all
this?
Salvador Dali spoke of Americans
in the following explanation: “What the
American people like best is, first, blood, (violent people who like wars)…
There are always scenes where the hero is beaten in the most sadistic way in
the world, and where one witnesses veritable orgies of blood!” Violence in America has been accepted by
most, including the schools and churches, while beautiful, natural sexuality
and nudity is frowned upon. But, it’s
fine and dandy to beat the crap out of the other guy. Remember, Jesus wasn’t against sexuality, but
He definitely was against violence!
Second, Americans like watches,
according to Dali. Why? Because, they are always looking at their watches in America. Americans have no time for smelling the
roses, or seeing their natural surroundings for its pure value. They are always in a hurry, terribly pressed
for time. They have no time for God in
their busy money-making culture.
Next, the greatest passion of the
American people is when they see little children killed. Why?
Because, according to the greatest psychologists in the U.S., the
massacre of the innocents is the favorite theme, the one which is found in the
innermost depths of their subconscious minds, since they are constantly annoyed
by children, so that their libido projects itself filling the cosmic surfaces
of their dreams. Children have always
been least in our society, as a teacher myself, I see
this often by the parents, administrators and taxpayers. Children are not taxpayers or voters, so our
corrupt government doesn’t care about them at all. This is the main reason more children live in
poverty in America than any other group of people.
According to Dali’s painting, one
is led to believe that conflict, war, and violence is truly what many Americans
like, based on the media, Hollywood blockbusters, corporations, and the evil
Pentagon. So, what has happened to all
those so-called wonderful Sunday Christians, who run like clock work to church
on Sunday mornings, once again continually looking at their watches? Being controlled by time, rather than
love! Being controlled with hatred in
their hearts, rather than love! For a
hour or two once a week, they pretend to follow in Jesus’ footsteps, one’s full
of love, peace, and non-violence, then the rest of the week talk and act like
pagan beasts of greed. At least that is
what I have observed first hand and up close with the immoral and corrupt
Catholics in Southeast Iowa, Naples, Florida, and even here in Northwestern
Vermont.
Our country was once considered
Christian, founded upon by fellow Christians and laws based on Christian
principles of love and justice. So, what
the hell has happened? (Excuse, my French).
Where is your God? Is your God
held captive locked up in your architecturally gorgeous buildings of wealth and
waste? Has God become your slave for
convenience in your busy, and greedy lives of
entertainment, sports and shopping?
God’s not important these days to Americans, as long as we have a Wal-Marts in Williston and elsewhere
to buy whatever we want to fill our empty and void hearts and souls. Greed and convenience are our gods of
today!!!
“All governments are today’s
Babylon’s and all weapons of war should be beaten into plowshares,” Rev. Daniel
Berrigan, a Catholic Jesuit Christian.
Rev. Berrigan,
based on scriptures, firmly believes that there are no in-betweens in
life. War kills God’s beautiful creations, therefore, no true Christian should participate
in any war, no matter how so-called “just” the war may seem to you or your
immoral government. The United States
Catholic Bishops voted overwhelmingly with their immoral stamp of approval to
bomb and kill in Afghanistan. War kills,
so the Bishops have innocent blood upon their pedophile hands!
Through his many years of
scholarly research and teaching, Rev. Berrigan
observed that Revelation is often misused or misunderstood as a gloomy textbook
of death, predicting there simply must be a big war to resolve good and evil –
that is a HUGE lie! George W. Bush is lying, he is a false prophet of our time. Yet, he is hailed and adored by a majority of
misled and ignorant Christians.
For myself, the passage in the
Bible: “All the nations were deceived by
your sorcery,” reflects our America, which is consumed by the worship of money,
power, idolatry, and greed which bring mighty civilizations, like ours, down to
rubble. Our current popular President
George Bush represents all this evil sorcery today through the massacre of the
innocents and children throughout the world.
This is why most Americans love George W. Bush (the bloody and greedy)
killer, because as Salvador Dali said back in the 40’s through the 60’s,
“Americans love veritable orgies of blood!”
President Bush, along with the majority of so-called Christians are
condemning the U.S. to fall under the enormous weight of our sinful actions
towards the environment and God’s most precious creation – human life!
What would Jesus Christ say and
do if he was a citizen of the U.S. today?
According to his most beautiful teachings, most probable; either we are
talking and acting as citizens of an immoral, corrupt political boundary, and
true Christianity as Taught by Jesus himself in the four gospels is unimportant
to you, OR as people who say and act, “MY FAITH IS EVERYTHING!!!”. Then, we open up
to the gospels of Christ, which says to actively love your neighbors and
enemies, and do good to all. Clearly, the Christian message is of love,
peace, justice, and always non-violence.
We must begin to actively love
everyone and everything in God’s created world.
Remember, either you are a follower of President Bush, who represents
blood orgies, war violence, greed, and eternal death of your soul, OR you are a
true follower of God first and foremost every single day of your life. There are no fence sitters, lukewarm
spectators and absolutely no in-betweens.
The choice is yours! Will it be
God or Bush? Hopefully, together we can
say, God bless the world!
